Money Supermarket Car Insurance claims to give speedy access to a vast range of car insurance quotes from a world of different insurers. All at the tap of a touchscreen. What could be simpler?
Well it’s remarkably straightforward really. To start with we’ll lead with the assumption that you have a car, otherwise you may as well stop reading now, as this app has little to offer you. Next we’ll also assume you’re the kind of car owner who likes to obey the law and do all that stuff it insists on, like having insurance. Good: with these assumptions firmly in place, the MoneySupermarket app is definitely for you.
Using the app to get a quote is simplicity itself and saves you from the usual bother of trawling the dullest sites on the internet to compare prices or, worse still, having to speak to somebody who couldn’t care less in a battery-farm call centre somewhere near Milton Keynes. Simply punch in your car’s registration and the app will fish out the make and model automatically, add details on general usage and about yourself, then click for a quote. Done.
Obviously the quote will be specific to you and your motor, so we can’t really go into any more detail on that side of things, but suffice to say that MoneySupermarket claim to save their customers, on average, £374.93 on the cost of their car insurance and, as the app is free (the first free insurance app available, apparently), it’s a winning situation that's off the Charlie Sheen scale.
Design-wise you’ll not be writing home any time soon, but then that’s not the point, this is: download, get quote, buy insurance, delete… repeat annually.
Basic budget car insurance quotes delivered in mere minutes – sourcing car insurance may not be glamorous, but it is essential, and this app insures it’s pain-free.
