Angry Birds level builder rumoured following cryptic Facebook photo

It doesn’t take much to get the Angry Birds rumour mill spinning, so app fanatics were hyperventilating yesterday at the sight of a mysterious picture posted on the mega-selling downloads’s Facebook page.

A simple snap of a green pig daydreaming on how best to avoid his avian enemies has now been taken as a sign that a level builder will be added to Rovio’s blockbuster app.

Accompanied by a simple “decisons, decisions, decisions” tag, the latest fruit from the Angry Birds grapevine follows speculation earlier this month that a new feathered app is on its way. According to Pocket Lint, a download centred around the famous green pigs is on its way – although this doesn’t necessarily seem to tie in with the picture above.

Indeed the attention paid to Amazing Alex’s level builder indicates this may well be a direction Rovioexpand upon in the future. With Angry Birds Space having clocked in over 100 million downloads, the next instalment in the world’s biggest app franchise in almost guaranteed to be a success.
